Geocache Description:

Tarwonga is situated 20 kilometres south of Williams on the Albany Highway roadside marker 15185
The Caches location is at the near by Tarwonga Hall and sporting complex on the East side of the Highway
The camo cache is of a smaller container which holds a log book and pencil . retrival is pretty straight forward once found. though a magnetic telescopic rod may make the job easier (though not neassary) .  Once found and logged please take the time to relocate and hide

The old near by Tarwonga Inn (0.6 km south of the cache on the Highway) operated as a licensed Inn until 1893. In 1904 the new owner Mr Jack Kerrigan obtained a Wayside House Licence and the old Inn became the centre for most sporting and social activities in the area. Today it is privately owned and used as a private residence.
Tarwonga is cropping and sheep country..and where there are sheep you'll find Border Collie's :-)

THE CACHE: Close by is the Tarwonga Hall and Sporting ground and its here that the cache is hidden. (the Dardadine turn off is almost directly opposite the driveway entrance to the hall )
The Hall and its sporting complex is way off the highway hidden from traffic and makes a great spot to pull over to stretch the legs be two legged variety or the four legged variety.

Remember it is a country hall and sporting complex so your visit may coincide with some sporting activities..My suggestion is... if thats the case, enjoy the break ...Linga Longa at Tarwonga..and try for the cache on another visit some time, otherwise it will get muggled.

Happy caching and drive safe, Kind Regards :Albany Nomads

Congratulations to Teamtriplefive8 on being a FTF,... Good to see some locals get the first to find
