by.

This is the second of my caches in the trilogy based on filming
locations for the TV series of The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy.
This location, Pinnock tunnel is the tunnel where Slartibartfast
flew his aircar to the centre of the planet Magrathea.
The tunnel is on the old Par to Fowey railway line, which is
currently used as a private road by the French company who took
over English China Clays.
Trying to find a location with some connection to the tunnel has
been hard work and this really is the best I could find! On the
walk to the cache you'll see the brick built air shaft that is used
to ventilate the tunnel and you'll walk over the tunnel which a
considerable distance below your feet.
To work out the cache location you'll need to do some sums, so
if you're ready, we'll begin.

The footpath past the farm itself runs across a field - it is
well marked by bright yellow paint on the gates.The cache contains
the usual logbook and pen, a FTF prize of 42p! and a few bits and
bobs.
