En la
sierra Guadarrama, entre Madrid y Segovia se encuentra el macizo de
La Mujer Muerta, que forma la silueta de una mujer yaciente
cubierta con un velo.
Allí
arriba, en la cresta de la Mujer Muerta, podéis encontrar
este GeoCache.
Hay varias leyendas que explican la forma de esta zona de la
sierra.
Una de aquellas dice que hace siglos vivía en la zona una
mujer con dos hijos que se odiaban; uno se fue a vivir a la zona de
Madrid y el otro a la de Segovia. Un día coincidieron cuando
iban a visitar a su madre y empezaron a discutir. Tanto se
enfadaran el uno con el otro que comenzaron a tirarse piedras. La
madre intentó pararles y se puso en medio de los dos, pero
la furia les cegaba y la madre cayó muerta y sepultada por
las piedras.
Existen
múltiples posibilidades para
llegar a la zona del cache, por ejemplo desde el Puerto de
Navacerrada, siguiendo el camino Schmid, desde Cercedilla o desde
el norte, pasando por el Puerto de Pasapan. Cada una de aquellos
tiene su encanto, pero cada uno también es un paseo de
varias horas.
El cache
esta escondido en la altura de la “nariz” de la Mujer
Muerta. Recomiendo llevar las fotos spoiler para determinar mas
fácil el sitio del escondite.
Entre
otras cosas de intercambio también están puestas
certificados para los tres primeros master cachers que encuentran
el escondite.

The massif of La Mujer Muerta (The Dead Woman) is located in the
mountains of Guadarrama, between Madrid and Segovia. It forms the
silhouette of a lying woman with a veil (see photo
above).
You can find this GeoCache up there in the crest of the Mujer
Muerta.
There are multiple legends explaining the shape of this zone of the
mountains.
One of them tells that centuries ago a woman lived in this zone
with two sons, hating each other. One of the sons left to live in
the zone of Madrid, the other one to live in the zone of Segovia.
One day they met each other visiting at the same time their mother
and they started to discuss. They got so angry that they started to
throw stones to each other. The mother tried to stop them and
stepped between them. But the rage made them blind and the mother
fell down dead, buried by the stones.
The zone of the cache can be reached from many directions, for
example from Puerto de Navacerrada, following the Camino Schmid,
from Cercedilla or from the north, passing the Puerto de Pasapan.
Each of them has its enchantment, but each of them is also a
multiple hour walk.
The cache is hidden close to the “nose” of the Mujer
Muerta. I recommend bringing the spoiler photo in order being able
to determine easily the hiding place.
Among other things for doing interchange the initial cache also
includes certificates for the first three master cachers finding
the cache.
