Geocache Description:


I got the inspiration for this cache visiting Sluices by JenniferK.

This spot has much historical value, and is an amazingly intact example of one of the types of gold mining that shaped this area.

While it has been 'built into a corner' by all the retail growth in the area, it is luckily still accessible.

If you bring small children, keep an eye on them, as there are lots of places to fall into. Also beware of the Poison Oak; it's all over the place.
