How Geocaching Works
The 26-acre Sheldon Nature Area ecosystem is located behind Oakwood Elementary School.
The Sheldon Nature Area committee has developed the nature area into an environmental education learning center through dedicated community volunteers over the past twelve years. The committee chairperson, John Walsh has given permission for the caches to be placed inside Sheldon.
**This is the first of 4.
Enter from Sheldon Drive.
*Bug spray is a must in summer months.
*No dogs allowed.
*Park is closed when dark.
*Please stay on or near the trails and remove any trash you bring with you.
*There is a nice gazebo and covered picnic area.
