THE CACHE IS NOT AT THE GIVEN COORDINATES.
You will need to solve the puzzle to find the actual coordinates.
Welcome to the University of Iowa Hawkeye GeoArt caches!
This is a collection of 125 puzzle caches of varying degree of difficulty. Some of the puzzles might be more challenging and some are easy enough to be solved by anyone from the other two state universities (Just kidding, Iowa has 3 fantastic state universities). ;-) Hopefully everyone will find something that they enjoy. Geocheckers will be provided on some, but not all, of the caches. All caches are within 4 miles of the given coordinates. Permission was obtained for deviation from the suggested 2-mile radius due to permit restrictions and housing density in the area surrounding the geoart.
Good luck and have fun!
This Clear Creek Township cemetery was established in 1845. The land was first used by the Dowd family to bury two of his children. In 1863, J. C. Hamilton bought the land. His father, Yale Hamilton, became the first recorded burial in the cemetery. Several notable Iowans including Honorable Robert Walker, the first justice of the peace in the Iowa Territory, are buried here. To find the cache, locate the Oak Hill cemetery just outside of Tiffin, IA (Google is your friend). Next you will need to find a blue sign street sign that relates to the theme of this puzzle series. It's visible if you drive through the cemetery but it's not on a road. (Note: I didn't place the sign at that location.) Walk to the sign and you will find yourself posted right near the cache.
