Geocache Description:

Welcome to FireLanterns-onopoly, or Flonopoly for short. A cache series inspired by (but in no way associated with or endorsed by!) the board game of a similar(ish) name. This series of caches will take you to 28 locations around the streets of London, some well known, some not so well known, but all of them made famous by that great board name we all know and love.

The caches are mostly all 35mm and magnetic, containing log book only, so bring a pen. Within each cache you will also find a small Flonopoly logo, with a number on the back. Take careful note of this number (and make sure you get the logo the right way up - turn it round, not upside down - don't mix up those 6's and 9's!) - as you will need all of these if you want to go for Flonopoly - Jail and ultimatley Flonopoly - GO. If you make it all the way round these London Streets, there will be a small Flonopoly reward as a mark of respect for covering a lot of miles. Also if this is your first Flonopoly cache, please take note of the date and time of your first find - and when/if you do them all, the date and time of your last, so when you log Flonopoly GO you can tell us how long it took you to do the series !

Flonopoly Cache 16 - Fleet Street, is named after the river fleet that runs from North London to the Thames, (however now mostly through pipework rather than exposed to the outside world). Once home to the UK's press, and allegedly home to the famous barber Sweeney Todd, this city road is now more well known for it's law courts and barristers chambers.

The cache, is placed at almost the very western end of the street before it becomes The Strand, and is on the main thoroughfare, and hence likely to be busy at all times.
