The coordinates given on this website will lead you to a small
picnic area along State Hwy 32 in Mountain. It should be fairly
easy to locate the written coordinate which will lead you to the
next site -- the cache itself. The terrain at the first site is
also very easy, and the parking spaces are conveniently located.
The cache itself is stowed away on some high ground within a few
miles of the clue. This part makes the difficulty rating higher,
but I think it is quite doable for most geocachers. (As this is the
first cache I've placed, any feedback on the ratings I've chosen
would be appreciated) Children more than 4 years old would probably
love to go along. There is an easy way and a harder way.
Please take care to replace the cache how I've hidden it (how
would you know unless the last people did the same?). Try not to
make the area look too disturbed.
Oh, yeah, and maybe the Simon and Garfunkel cache nickname was a
bit of a stretch (at least for the first part); but it struck me as
a good theme after I placed the items. I'm sure any fans out there
can figure out to which 2 songs these sites refer.
In winter, the first part shouldn't be too bad. As far as the
second part, good luck. With minimal snow cover it might be
possible. Take care not to slip.
