Monty Man Virtual Cache

This cache has been archived.

Bridger: Erosion has taken its toll and Monty Man has evolved to an unrecognizable blot. The fossil Mesohippus was the spot where you could once see it--look west, beneath the highest peak.

The ongoing erosion of the Badlands will morph all features, eventually.

Geocache Description:

A unique erosion by the Fossil Walk Trail of Badlands NP.

Remember the unfortunate duelist who tried to hold the bridge in Monty Python's Quest for the Holy Grail film? He lost both arms and both legs, but still tried to fight. Well, he's depicted in a wall in Badlands NP.

Because erosion is an ongoing process in this park, I cannot be sure how long this will last. Bonus: why did erosion create this particular shape?

To log this cache, send me the name of the one fossil he can clearly see.
