A cache in the Köszeg Mountains, Hungary, beautiful location, 557 m elevation.
This cache is southwest from the city of Köszeg, close to the Austrian border. There is a chapel over the beautiful village Velem. The white walls and red roof of the building can be seen from far away, surrounded by the green of the forest. You will have to leave your car in the parking area near the chapel. From there it takes you only 10 minutes of light walking. If you come by mountain-bike, it’s a little bit harder, but you have to walk only the last 100 meters. The cache itself is a plastic container with green lid, containing some “cool” sunglasses, a tourist map of Sopron Mountains, and an “almost perfect” Garmin eTrex Vista. Please, cover the box with some leaves, branches, otherwise it might be too visible.
