Geocache Description:

foto by Baketas

This multi cache will take you to Azinhal, a small village in the county of Castro Marim, away from the summer crowds.

If you follow my suggestions, I hope you will have an easy and quiet hike from Azinhal to River Guadiana, a natural border dividing Portugal and Spain.

After crossing the town, you will visit its church and two spots with scenic views.

The total distance from start to end is about 3 kms. You can walk (that's my suggestion), or you can drive a car without much trouble (dirt tracks), and turn this cache in a drive-in. If you love your car very much, please walk, ride a bike or drive a jeep/similar.

My grandparents lived here, my father and uncles were born here, so this cache is like a tribute to them and my childhood memories.

THE CACHE

At initial spot, in front of the church, look at the lamp post closer to the window. It has some numbers engraved, in this format:
A B C D D
E D D F
G D H F

2nd stage coordinates:

 37º 1 H . A (F - H) B
007º 2 (3xE). F G D
Check your data: G+H+F=CXA=B+E+F+1

On second stage search for a small white container under a thorny bush. Inside it are the final coordinates.

Enjoy the hunt and the views. Good luck.
