Small park and garden behind the Moscone South.
To help celebrate the popular arts this cache has been placed in
this small public park/garden near the site where Wonder Con is
held. It is a comic book convention held in February each year in
San Francisco. This cache has a Wonder Con logo on it and some
Batman stickers. It is rectangular in shape, has a few comic book
related items inside and a log book and pen. Always lots of
children and parents around so be sure to use stealth.

November 13 by Nomex (0 found) It appears as though the cache owner hasn't been active for a few months, so giving the traditional 30 days for relocation or proof of permission before archiving:Hi Bay Area Bigfoot , As you may know, there has been a rash of encounters at caches that are illegally placed on private property without permission. As such we are now asking that all caches placed on private property, such as this one appears to be, have the permission of the owner of the property. This is to protect you as the cache hider, as well as future finders of the cache. Geocachers have been accosted by angry property owners and also have been detained and charged by the police for trespassing. Please let me know if you have permission and who the permission was granted by, so I can add it to the cache page. If no permission was obtained before placing the cache you can either attempt to get permission for placing it there from the property owner, or you can go ahead and remove the cache and find new location that is hopefully not on private property for it. Don't hesitate to email me via the link on my Profile if you have any questions. Please be sure to include the cache name and GC Code, or better yet, the URL of the cache page. Thanks for your cooperation! Nomex Northern California Volunteer Cache Reviewer
[view this log] | November 13 by Wacka (4874 found) Security spotted me grabbing this one and said I had to take it away. The woman saw what was in it, but said that other security might think it was a bomb , so it had to go.
[view this log] | November 12 by MIDGIE4ME (1728 found) Wacka was in town and grabbed me for a couple of caches at lunch time. This one was in a nice area. But on private property. TFTC.
[view this log] | November 12 by Wacka (4874 found) #4841 11:50 AM Sadly, this cache is no more. I have it in my possession and will contact the owner. We looked around to determine if the area was clear. There was a security person watching the kids at the play area. We went for it, but she was stealthier than us. She saw us grabbing it and asked what we were doing. We were not in trouble, but the cache had to go. We couldn't contact the owner, but had to remove it then. So I took it with me. I will put a Needs Archiving post on this one. As we were leaving, I also spotted a camera on the nearby corner of the building. Sorry for. causing it to disappear, but I thought I was stealthy enough.

This was the eleventh of 14 smileys while in the Bay Area for the day. I grabbed four in Millbrae before heading into San Francisco for another 10. TFTC!FMJ#4915
