How Geocaching Works
Terrain is steep at times, but most of the time stairs are provided. Be careful and watch for posion ivy!
Cedar Bluffs is a beautiful park located south east of Tracy, Iowa.
Enter the park at N 41°14.935 W 092°49.64
Finding the cache will be a long walk, but it is a nice scenic trail with a lot of wildlife along the way. The trail is almost two miles all the way around. Don't miss the observation deck (N 41 15.49 W 092 49.36) with a beautiful view of the Des Moines River Valley. Steep hills and a lot of stairs may be a challenge for some, but it is a nice place for anyone to check out in an afternoon.
The cache is a Rubbermaid containter with a white lid.
While you are in the area, also be sure to check out the Cedar Creek Access Cache (not too far away)!
