Geocache Description:

An event in a far away land called Bala (joking apart) Bala is in the
Snowdonia National Park and is stunning caching country. Please contact us for a list of local B&B's if you are interested in staying over, or even camping.

We have got together with local cacher martinbryn (Martin) and we are holding a joint caching event at the dog friendly
(controlled dogs only or they will get BARRED)
free doggy treat for every geodog that attends

Check the dogs dining area out
Bryntirion Inn (The Bryn) is the event location, start time 6.00pm till LTL, food will be served (12noon till 3pm and 6pm till 9pm) there is also real ale
Children allowed all evening but it will be busy/boisterous
with it being Saturday night.

NOTE
For those interested the Inn has a pool table, large connect four and a dart board so the THEME FOR THIS EVENT will be knockout competitions with prizes for the winners of the three events, all proceeds (entry money) will go to the 5th Mega Event (2012)
Entry per event Adult £1 Child £0.50 with option of buying yourself back in if you get knocked out after the first round

"Free camping has been provided nearby (organised by martinbry& Ant89). We regret that the site is not accessible by car but is only a short walk from the pub where parking is provided. A full Welsh breakfast is available to anyone who wants one by booking it the night before for £6" cheers guys.

Just a quick note there is free Wi-Fi access at the Bryn, to get all your cache updates I hope to be able to get a series of 12 caches published on the Saturday (via The Boss)

Missed martinbryn (Martin & Linda) but can honestly say this is going to be a ace weekend
The Brintirion is an ideal venue, lots of room for us. Nice size games room for the tournaments and kids

Martin has a sound system in the main room that we can us, and has now got us a dance floor booked for the Saturday night he is also sponsoring the trophys for the games as well, he is a star.

So if you want to get down and boogie see link go for it!!

So don't forget to sort your CD's out and bring them along with you (or be square)

Here is the Bryntirion inn menu , which is getting updated at the moment.
Martin has asked if we can pre-order our meals to save diappointment on on the day. I shall let you know when to place your orders, watch this space.

Saturday the 28th April approx programme for the day 8.00am-9.30am full Welsh breakfast served at the Bryn (please pre-order) price for breakfast will be £6.00 (also available on Sunday as well). Packed lunches can be ordered from for the Saturday and/or the Sunday if wanted £6.00.

9.30am Martin will handout paperwork for the new nearby MartinBryn's Clock series (12 caches plus bonus). Group outing to walk the series leaving from the Bryn.
Lots of other excellent cache series in the area to do, so have a good days caching.
There is a sit-down meal planned for 6.00pm if you would like to join us but you
MUST pre-order food ASAP.
Menu on the cache page (ABOVE). Food is being served up until 9.00pm if you don't want to eat early but to avoid disappointment please pre-order.
Games will start promptly as soon as we have finished dinner.
Reminder for our home-made disco (& background music), Martin has supplied us with a dance floor and a sound system, all you need to do is bring your favorite CDs - this includes the children of course. The one and only linedancers will be holding their mega raffle so please can you bring a little some thing to put into it, thank you as always for supporting this.
Martin and Linda have donated a bottle of wine and a pair of tickets for Sunday lunch at the Bryn, I have some thing specially planned with these donations as prizes (to be announced on the night)
So all that leaves me to say is, lets have a brilliant time as we always do and a BIG thank you to Martin and Linda for hosting this weekend. PS see you at Nod's Picnic on Sunday if you are still around. Mike, Gail & Melyn

Mr WC and all campers, please call into the Brintirion Inn and introduce yourselfs to our hosts Martin & Linda and somebody will point you the way to the camping field (there may even be a sign up)

What a fantastic weekend just read the logs.
A great big THANK YOU to our hosts Martin & Linda and all the staff for making us so welcome & looking after our every needs, also our one and only
DJ P (Mr Lannie) who done us proud (what a star) & he is booked for next year already, looking forward to next years see you there
