Geocache Description:

A fairly long walk is required to get to this cache. Trails will lead you most of the way and the walk is not very difficult. The cache is located at Lake Crabtree in Morrisville and the starting point can be from several locations.

The cache contains computer software programs (and a few toys for the kids). Please bring a software program with you to exchange for one in the cache. And be sure to post what you placed so others monitoring this cache site can know when to visit the site for the new programs that have been added.

You can either start your search from the Black Creek Greenway off of dynasty or the entry point on Old Reedy Creek Road (off of Weston Parkway). The cache is located on the south side of the lake. Another fun way to get to the cache is to take a boat across the lake. Or if you are in an adventurous mood, you can start at the tower and walk the path around the lake (which we did when placing the cache – all 5.2 miles of it.)

Once you get near the location, you shouldn’t have too much trouble finding it. The tree cover is moderate and your GPS should provide a good signal. If you access the area from the west, be prepared for muddy shoes – especially after a rain. Access from the east should be dry.
