Geocache Description:

The cache is not at the posted coordinates, but is located within the Borderland State Park boundaries.

We’ve all heard the words uttered from famous athletes after winning championships when asked, “What are you going to do now?” … I’m going to Disneyland! So when we decided to place this series of caches, we asked ourselves, “Where are we going to place them?” … We’re Going To Borderland … State Park that is!

The I’m Going To Borderland Series (or IGTB for short) is, in essence, a 17-stage Disney-themed multi-cache where you actually get 17 smileys when you finish the series. It is divided into 2 smaller series, one named for Disney movie songs (IGTB:The Songs) and one named for Disney movie villain-types (IGTB:The Villains). In each series, there are a number of regular caches that each contain a piece of the coordinates for a series unknown cache. Each of the two series unknown caches contain half of the coordinates for this cache.

Mickey Mouse is the official mascot of Disney, and probably the most recognizable cartoon character in the world. Mickey made his debut in 1928 in the short film Steamboat Willie and the rest, as they say, is history. What isn’t as well known is that Mickey was created as a replacement for a character that Walt Disney created for Universal Studios called Oswald the Luck Rabbit. Universal took the character (and the majority of the animators) from Disney in a contract dispute, so Walt and his remaining loyal animators created Mickey.

The coordinates for this cache can be found in the IGTB:The Villains – Lady Tremaine and IGTB:The Songs – Rumbly In My Tumbly caches.

You are looking for an ammo can hidden in a very expected way. This entire series can be accomplished in one day, though it will be a long hike.

Congratulations to MookieWilson (MW) for FTF!!
