Bellah just loves this rural, mostly undeveloped county park,
Cooper Creek Park, because she can run free without a leash and
there is a shallow stream to play in. It has a horse/foot path that
sometimes gets a lot of use on the summer weekends. Watch out for
road apples (something else she unfortunately likes). This park
closes 1 hour before dusk. While you're there be sure and check out
the other cache in the park, it's close by-
Holiday "Trade-ditions" by The Bowser Family.
This is a letterbox hybrid cache. There aren't very many of them
in this area. Letterboxing is a sport/hobby started in England.
Very briefly it is a lot like geocaching, but you use a series of
clues to find a container. Once you find the container (or
letterbox), you take a carved stamp from the box and stamp your
personal logbook. You then take your carved stamp and stamp the
letterbox's log book. For more information about letterboxing check

About
letterboxing by Der Mad Stamper
In the spirit of letterboxing we don't give you the coordinates
to the cache but instead a series of clues or directions to find
it. You don't need to have a personal stamp & personal log book
to seek this cache, but to stay with the intent of letterboxing a
personal stamp would be nice. You can get a stamp of your own at
most hobby stores like Hobby Lobby or Michaels, they aren't very
expensive. Please don't take the stamp or pad from the cache. It is
meant to stay there. Thanks. Bring your dog along if you can and
take a picture to add to your log.
To find "Bellah's Letterbox" identify the trailhead located at
the coordinates above. From there follow the trail to your north.
After a short ways the trail will fork- go to the right (east).
Follow it until you reach the bottom of the big hill. Stop at the
fallen dead branchless big tree just to the left of the trail (it
lays at a 40 degree angle to the trail with it's base facing you).
Turn north and walk 30 paces to the cache.
Poop In - Poop Out
We have created a sig item and are releasing some of the first ones
here at this cache. It is a PIPO container (much like a CITO
container). It is a 35mm film canister with a doggie clean up bag
inside. So, when your dog poops in the park you can take the poop
out of the park. How ironic that you don't have to clean up after
your pet at this park!
Congratulations to Mattvm2007 on the FTF!
