This being the first cache I set I decided against any "heroics" and kept it simple.
My reasoning is that
1. It's close to home for maintenance.
2. If it works out well and I get good feed back then I'll go for some "deeper in the jungle" sites and believe me...I have a couple "good'uns" in mind
A word of caution is in order. As you drive to the end of the road beware...it ends at a boat ramp!!! So PLEASE...No "Darwin Award Candidates"...'nuff said.
Park at N44.36.910 W67.29.751 --on the right as you drive in just before the boat ramp. It's about a half mile round trip following the shore. You may have to "bushwhack" if the tide is real high. Cache is a camoed Lock & Lock with log, pencil & sharpener plus all the high quality treasures one might expect. Enjoy the hike & let me know if there are any problems. I've done several averaging checks on coords but due to evergreen canopy they may be off be a digit or two.
