Geocache Description:

This is Called the Ray Dok path

In memory of My best friend and a Danbury legend Ray Laughinghouse
Ray Dok In respect of his passing

This cache is in memory of Ray Dok who used this path to get to North St./Padanaram rd. from his home located on Hayestown Heights.

This is a common path used by a lot of people who know the area. A good to know if you're expecting to walk to Padanarum Rd./North St. heading from the Candlewood Lake park area.
Taking this path can cut down your walking mission in half. The path entrance can be reached on Hayestown Heights-or the top of Rose Ln. Parking is located in any visitors spot at the condos on the top of the hill on Rose Ln. On the left, or at the other end of the path in the back lot of North Ridge condos on Padanarum Rd. ...BEWARE OF SPEEDING CARS COMING AROUND THE CORNER AT THE HAYESTOWN HEIGHTS ENTRANCE...The path is not located on any private property but treat it well. You can thank Ray Dok for making this awesome path 20 years ago so we don't have to walk an hour.

Random, but it was a joke we had when we were younger of him practicing to sound like he was an older man to see if he can score us some beer. lol Never worked.
