Found this with Ventura Kids during a pre-Thanksgiving 120+ cache day along the 33. It was a great day with perfect weather.

Thanks for the cache.

I love when people log the important things in their logs. Where was the cache, and can I drive there. We drove the dirt road all the way to the end. This is the end of the road if the gate is open. It looks like the gate is open when the weather is good. The cache is in an easy spot.....not too much bushwacking at all.

In Los Padres National Forest
On a cold and breezy morning
A tough hike down in the valley
Of which there was no warning

Arrived and the gate was wide open
Started at sunrise and finished at sunset
Eighty-one caches and only two DNFs
‘Twas going to be a hike I’ll never forget

‘Twas almost ten miles of downhill
All nine of us were very prepared
A few crossings of a stream so cold
And a trail of rocks and dust we shared

Thanks for placing this trail of caches out here - we had a blast and are still recovering!

As the Geo_Connections' 2009 Magical Mystery Ojai Road Tour continues, there were shouts of joy about being able to hike instead of drive, until our breaths froze. Found (brrr) at 9:15 a.m., at 4950', ready to descend to 1490', 9.66 miles later.

Finally at the start of the hike. It was just above freezing as we started to search for this. Mountain Cat's log had us thinking this was missing. But with the big group someone was able to spot something that looked like it might be the cache push far back under a bush. I don't remember who was sent in to retrieve it. It turned out the be the container InsideVC, Big Eagle, and Big Foot Moose had left previously. Anyway I was the one to put it back and didn't put it back as far so it should be easier to find now. Thanks for the hide.
