Wandering Will CacheI am named in honor of young Karl Wilhelm Geiger who died August 8, 2003 at the age of 12. This cache is placed on the first anniversary of Will’s death. Will was a true outdoorsman who loved to travel with his parents and two brothers. He touched many in his short life and this cache is planted by his Great Aunt Betsy and Great Uncle Ray with their friends. It is planted in North Park where his grandparents, Bill and Margaret, spent many a day in their youth. The cache contains all the things that a 12 year old boy would love: an outdoor map of Pittsburgh, a bouncy ball, a miniature football, an emergency blanket, a flashlight, a stuffed black bear, a utensil set, sling shot, compass, whistle, Brusters coupon, M&M guy, a fishing lure,and some carvings carved by Uncle Ray and more. It also contains the Wandering Will travel bug who wants to visit as many outdoor places as he can.The Popeye travel bug is there as well.
