MONEY! It's all about the cash!
"Money it's a gas;
Grab that cash with both hands and make a stash." "Follow the
money." "Show me the money!" Money! Money!
Money! Then again, sometimes, it's all about the cache.
Then it's about the coinage. The Geocoinage.
If you're into the Geocoin craze or are just interested in finding
out what all this is about, then this is the event for you.
If you're a seasoned collector, bring your coins to display.
If you're interested in joining in on this fast growing
addition to Geocaching and want to learn more, we will have people
on hand to get you started. We will have coins to buy, sell,
trade, and just plain look at. The Texas Geocoins will be for
sale and if you have your own personal coins, you will be able to
sell those as well. After all, it's really not about the money.
It's about the icons!
We'll get started sometime after 7:00PM. And you don't have
to be into the Geocoin craze to attend. All are welcome!
I've been informed that Wayne (The Outlaw) has come up with a
different kind of ice-breaker game we can play, which will be good
with all the new cachers we have this year. We will have
s'mores for the kids, big and little, or if you would like to
contribute something of your own, you are more than welcome.
Last year, CenTx also had a wine tasting, and if you would
like to continue that tradition, please feel free. (Personally, I'm
more into the "yeast brewed" wine.)
So, ya'll come on out and meet your fellow cachers, learn about
Geocoins, and have a general all-round good time! I'll update
this page with any new information as it becomes available.
