Each summer, Carl Sandburg College hosts a Kids On Campus program for schoolaged kids in the area. Classes offered range from cooking and crafting to fishing and speaking Spanish! KOC12 was chosen because starting in 2012, a "Cache & Seek" class was offered! These kids learn the joys of using GPS devices to make finds (and how to handle DNFs) as well as placing their own cache and trackable.
Our first cache was a large container full of swag but it became too treacherous to maintain so we've placed this micro instead!
PLEASE take care to replace as found so it stays out of the view of muggles and note that it is NOT A STRONG MAGNET!!!
