Esta cache é dedicada a todos os Geoturistas que visitam o
Mosteiro da Batalha, considerado pela UNESCO Património
Mundial e uma das sete Maravilhas de Portugal. This cache is
dedicated to all Geotourists that visit Mosteiro da Batalha,
considered World Heritage by UNESCO and one of Portugal´s
Seven Wonders.
A Cache
Está escondida perto do Mosteiro e, por isso,
permanentemente rodeada de turistas. Alguns Geocachers, outros nem
por isso. É MUITO IMPORTANTE agir cautelosamente, para que a
cache sobreviva.
Está num local acessível e é muito
fácil retirar o container do seu esconderijo sem dar nas
vistas. Basta ter um pouco de calma e de paciência. E ler a
Hint.
The Cache
The cache is hidden nearby the Monastery, so it's permanentely
surrounded by tourists. IT'S VERY IMPORTANT that you act
carefully.
The cache is easily accessible and easy to get out of the hidding
place. Just read the Hint.

Numa visita rápida à batalha, após o almoço lá fui na companhia da martasL.
Inicialmente atribuímos a dica a outros pontos, mas de facto à que saber diferenciar os materiais.  TFTC

Mais um DNF...Estas férias não foram boas para o geocaching, ou porque tinham demasiados muggle's ou por aselhice...Mesmo assim é sempre bom visitar novamente a Batalha.

Mais um tesouro na Batalha, com o TNT_Duck, local de peregrinação histórica (sim, as moedas passearam até aqui).
Estávamos nós a logar o tesouro quando somos interrompidos por uma solitária muggle turista brasileira, sorriso nos lábios, "A entrada do Mosteiro, onde é?".
"É por ali, ao virar da esquina".
Uns segundo depois, concentrada, tenta (com visível dificuldade) enquadrar o monumento no ecran da sua compacta (seria nova? - a máquina...).
Inocente, ofereço ajuda para tirar a foto ("quer que eu tire?"). Levado pelo vento frio, o sorriso (antes, a pedir ajuda, fácil) morre e surge o terror (o que será que este tipo quer? roubar-me a máquina? vingar-se em mim da maitê? estuprar-me?).
Teria algum dos ex-maridos, sido viciado em geocaching? Compreender-se-ia assim o pânico de ataque iminente.
Pode ser que eu aprenda; não se pode ser simpático nos dias de hoje sem causar estranheza e pânico.
