While I feel that Geocaching.com should hold the location for the cache owner and block other cachers from placing a cache in the area around this cache for a reasonable amount of time, we can’t do so forever.

Nothing seems to happen with this cache listing, so it is now archived, so that someone else can place a cache in the area, and geocachers can once again enjoy visiting this location. Also, if it hasn’t been done already, please pick up any remaining cache bits as soon as possible.

Geocache Description:

Grevestien går gjennom et variert landskap med store natur- og kulturverdier. Blant disse er herregårdslandskapet med åkerland, løvskoger og alleer omkring Jarlsberg Hovedgård. Her finnes Ilene og Gullkronene naturreservat, Farmannshaugen og Sem kirke. Sammen med Aulielva, byfjordbassenget og Slottsfjellet utgjør dette et spennende og innholdsrikt landskapsbilde

The path Grevestien runs through a varied landscape with great natural and cultural values. Among these are Ilene and Gullkronene nature reserves, Jarlsberg Hovedgård (Jarlsberg Manor, the largest agricultural property in Norway), Sem kirke (Sem church, the oldest stone church in Vestfold dated before 1100), Farmannshaugen (royal viking mound, according to tradition erected in memory of King Bjørn Farmann the founder of Tønsberg) and Slottsfjellet (castle rock, Scandinavia’s largest ruin park with ruins from Castrum Tunsbergis, which was Norway's largest castle in the 13th century). The cultural landscape is an estate with pastures, decidous forests and avenues. Together with Aulielva (Auli river) and Byfjorden (Tønsberg fiord) they make up an exciting and varied landscape
