Located in Pedernales State Park (TX) along one of the hiking trails.
Enjoy a hike along the 4-mile Loop trail while hunting this cache, although it isn't necessary to walk the entire 4 miles to find the cache. The cache is a Rubbermaid tub and includes pad/pencils and several small toys.
Most of the trail is an easy hike, except the steeper section down to and up from the Trammel Crossing (flat, shallow area across the Pedernales River -- wade or step from stone to stone).
A permit has been obtained from Pedernales State Park for this cache. Our state parks need all the support they can get. Please pay your entrance fee before hunting this cache.
