Team Webguy: it pains me to do this, but, it turns out this is just inside the National park, and since geocaching inside national parks is prohibited, I am archiving it. It will be collected shortly and any trackables within will be moved on.

Many thanks to all those who did this one, it was rapidly becoming the most found in NSW.

Another cache will be created nearby that is NOT in the national park.

They don't come much easier than this really!

Echo Point, Katoomba...

Millions of people have been here over the years to take in the views of the 3 sisters and valley below, and why not, it's a spectacular view, though, hardly the mountains best.

Who knows who or when the choice was made to call it Echo Point, a commercial one I am sure, but, on any given day, you can see people down there yelling their lungs out. Does anything ever come back? Unless you know what direction to face and how long to wait... not really, hence the name of this cache.

This is about as close to the point as I felt comfortable making a hide. It's close to easy walking tracks and should not be too hard to find. It's not that big, and unless you are careful, you can be seen from a number of directions when retrieving and replacing the container, especially from the track below, so have a good look around before grabbing it.

Please be sure to replace it exactly as it was found and replace any cammoflague that may be hiding the cache. I'd like to think that this one will last a bit longer than the previous cache that used to be in this area some time ago.

Depending on where you park, you may have to pay for parking, or, if you do not mind a 1-2 block walk, you can park for free.

I've bumped this one up half a star on the terrain as some people find stairs hard to walk up. Remember, there are 2 ways to get to this cache, one has many more stairs than the other. So terrain is still 1.5 for one direction and 2 from the other direction.
