Geocache Description:

Just a short ride up Deadwater Rd off Rt 16, this is the starting point for the old railroad trestle. Be careful of footing around the cement pier, could be a little slippery especially if its been raining.

Come take a look at where the old railroad trestle used to cross over Gulf Stream. The trestle has long since been removed for safety reasons, but you can still get an idea of the depth of the gorge. Be careful if you decide to venture down to the bottom. It's quite steep in places. Don't forget to check out the Backscatter radar station and Wyman dam while in this area. The cache is a standard Tuperware bowl with a blue top, filled with the usual trinkets and a log book. Oh yes, watch out for Moose!!!!
