The quest will guide you through a long volcano cave better said a lava tube. Here, you will find very detailed information on: Lava tubes
The foto shows the starting point where you will enter the tube. Once you have entered the tube you will proceed in the completely dark underworld. You only will see daylight for one time but you must not try to leave the tube at this point but proceed in the dark to your destination at the end. Eventually arrived, you will have a spectacular view to the ocean, too. |

At N27 42.286 / W018 08.713 you will have the chance to see daylight (here, the surface of the tube is broken and you could climb up) but you should not leave the cave here but must continue your walk in the cave for a further distance to get to the final location!! |

Recommended equipment: Good shoes, good flashlights or pocket lamps (2 at least for security reasons). Something like a hat to protect your head. It is also okay for children above 6 years, if they do not frighten in the dark. It is not very dangerous but a real adventure. Enjoy:-)!
