SERIES:
This series, YAGM
(You're A Good
Man, Charlie Brown), is dedicated to Charles M.
Schulz and his "Peanuts" comic strip. There are twelve caches in
the series, each named for one of the characters in the
comic.
You do not have to find one to find
another - each is an independent hide. There are no puzzles to
solve or questions to answer. Each cache is a micro and is a pretty
simple grab - some are easier than others. In general, be stealthy
and watch out for muggles. The difficulty level, if higher, is
usually due to muggle activity. Always bring your own writing
utensil. And, as always, ENJOY!

CHARACTER:

This cache is
dedicated to Sally.
Sally
Brown's brother, Charlie Brown, was so pleased and proud when she
was born that he passed out chocolate cigars. Since then he's been
trying to understand her. She always looks for the easy way out,
particularly at school, where her view of life reflects much of the
frustration and confusion kids experience. Her speech is riddled
with malapropisms. Uninhibited, and precocious, she has a
schoolgirl crush on Linus, her "Sweet Babboo." She may never win
Linus' heart, but she has her big brother wrapped around her little
finger. Sally, writing letters or doing homework, causes pain and
joy to her fans in roughly equal proportions. - From The Official Peanuts Website
Did You
know:
- Her favorite
pastime is sitting in her beanbag chair watching TV.
- "Sweet
babboo" was inspired by Schulz's wife Jeanie, who used to call him
that.
- She is one
of the few kids in the neighborhood who has never played on Charlie
Brown's baseball team.She does not seem to have much interest in
playing sports.
- Being
Charlie Brown's sister, she refers to him as "big brother", having
called him by his full name only on very rare
occasions.
- Sally wants
to be a nurse when she grows up because she likes wearing white
shoes.
- Sally was
once diagnosed with amblyopia (lazy-eye) and had to wear an
eyepatch for a while (Snoopy kept borrowing it to pretend to be a
pirate).
