Geocache Description:

From Schunemunk Mountain State Park to Wurtsboro Shawangunk ridge trail the Long Path travels roadways in Orange County, much of it can be hiked, biked or even driven. For your caching convenience, this series is all drive-up caches. I have taken the time to choose spots where there is adequate room to pull over. However should you decided to try the path as intended and hike or bike it, you may find your self rewarded with a knowledge only attained by that slower pace. It is only by walking the roads ordinarily driven that one can appreciate the different pace of rural living and it's dependence on the pace of nature rather than the pace of our "get it done now" culture.
