Cache is an ammo box near a beautiful old steel bridge.
This cache is located near an historic bridge that is repeatedly threatened for replacement, but still stands. Many in this area call it "The Singing Bridge" because of the noise made when cars travel over it.
The bridge is on the National Register of Historic Places. It has been neglected for decades, and is badly in need of rehabilitation. Those of us who live nearby do not want it replaced with a big, concrete "improvement".
This area floods frequently, so you may not want to visit just after a heavy rain. This location is close to Boyd's Bear Country, which is probably worth a stop if you're into that sort of thing.
Cache contains a log book and items for trade.
***WARNING*** Crazy neighbor alert! There is a farmer who is a bit touchy about the bridge (and who does NOT represent the remainder of the neighborhood). If you have any bother with him, please alert me. I may need to make changes to this cache. You may need to reassure him that you are NOT with the government.
Please stay on the road and bridge, and do not go onto any farmland.
