On top of Mt. Pinos, take trail for about .15 of a mile. Cache is
located about 225 feet off trail.
Mt. Pinos is the place to be if your amateur astronomer. The
astronomy club meets at the top of Mt. Pinos at each new moon
(visit link) I love space and wanted to place my
first cache here in honor of the solar system.

November 8, 2009 by johnislost (691 found) One of the nice things about the area, even down in Frazier Park, is how great it is for star gazing.Robin, Karen, Sean and I came up to Mt Pinos to place a new cache where Robin use to enjoy taking her Alaskan husky to play in the snow. While we were up we had a little time to grab a few caches in the area. Took GU (some kind of energy stuff) and we left ……. Hummmm …. Memory fade here! Forgot!. Thank you “kachemagnet” for the cache

August 23, 2009 by Birchland (378 found) Grabbed this one with "No place to far" & "Addicted2climbing" while enjoying a short hike before heading back home from a weekend of camping and enjoying home brews with the Maltose Falcons and good friends on Mt. Pinos. This was a fun quick hide. We took some trash someone had left in the cache, but otherwise it is full of great items!! TFTC. Love these mountain caches!
