This cache requires a little bit of a hike on the back of a hog! There is a GPS start location which you may want to use as your start point to begin your hike. The start point will send you on your way north on the trail known as the “hogs back”. As you start your trek you will see to your left (west) a small spring fed lake and as you continue northward the view only gets better.
So once you find the cache enjoy the view! At the cache location looking east you will see what seem to be two creeks joining. One directly in front of you (towards the east) is actually a creek and the other to your left (north) flowing to your right is actually spring fed and starts just a few hundred yards to the north. The total length of the ridge is approximately 1.5 miles long and joins an ATV trail.
The cache is a small camouflage rubber maid container. There is a log book, pencil and a few trinkets which you are more than welcome to add or swap.
It is approximately a half mile from the start point to the cache. It is recommended to have children accompanied by an adult.
