Many of Hindmarsh Island's early pioneers are here. It wasn't an easy life for many.
You are looking for a small container. It is not near the graves and while I know there are better hiding spots here I haven't used them because the Hindmarsh Island Landcare collect seeds from this spot as it has original vegetation in it and is an excellent seed source. Hindmarsh Island was stripped of trees during the paddle-boat era and this area is one of few that wasn't stripped or grazed with cattle.
