Ten sloops set sail from this isle of the Cayman
Back to King George and jolly old England
The objects collected on their long nautical quest
Would make the British royalty yearn for the rest
But there came poor weather obscuring the view
Of this paradise island that was known by so few
The coral protected the island like a wall
And the first ship hit the coral with a force like a maul
The Cordelia sent caution to the nine following after
The warning was slow and they too met with disaster
So be cautious now and take extra care
Of rocks, shoals and coral you must surly beware
If you’re looking for this Treasure you must face to the sea
And counting from port start with marker number three Bearing two
ninety-four and thirteen paces should get you there
But not to the treasure, I know it’s not fair
But looking for treasure is never real easy
So continue to look if it isn’t too breezy
From this marker take a bearing of three thirty-five
Walk twenty-three paces, I hope you survive
Now look down look down, but not at your feet
As X marks the spot, for this pirate’s treat
I hope that you found it after coming so far
If not, drown your sorrows at the Blue Dolphin Bar
