Geocache Description:

Ivory Billed Red Herring

The cache is NOT at the posted coords, but you could do a fly-by to see if there's a hint.

The Audubon Society in conjunction with the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration has just made a "starling" announcement of a new bird species discovered on the outskirts of Dover, Delaware. The new bird has been named ebur occisorum implerentur Rubeum Allec or commonly known as the Ivory Billed Red Herring. It is a young bird, just recently discovered. It is smart and knows many of the tricks of older birds. It was even seen collaborating with some Red Herrings recently (what are we in for now?). This bird can be a real puzzler if you don't know what to look for. So, in the interest of the local caching community, below is the only photo which has been taken of this rare bird.

Will this bird lead you to the cache or just more frustration? Only the Red Herrings know for sure- maybe!

This cache was placed in honor of our youngest & newest Delaware puzzler- ivorybilledbirder. My only hope is that I don't tear out what little hair I have left while trying to solve their puzzles!

Good luck & have fun on this easy one!
