PLEASE BE SURE TO HIDE THE CACHE SO IT CAN'T BE SEEN BY HIKERS.
I know that seems like an un-necessary statement, but once it was found in the middle of the trail and it went missing twice.
Easy walk of about 1.45 miles along the old railroad bed will take you to this bug jar.
The Leeward approach to the point is usually less muddy than the North approach. Also you can leave your car in a more populated area.
I always park at the end of the paved road on the ocean side of the road, out in the open with NOTHING of value left to tempt anyone.
