This event is to commemorate the end of one era and the beginning
of another. We will meet at Midland's City Forest recreation area.
Here is a rundown of events:
Before 5:45 PM - act as though you're there as a muggle, milling
about, but look for the meeting spot. Hopefully Foxgallagher's
"vechile" will be somewhere near the sign at the coordinates.
5:45 PM - Quickly gather at the coordinates, sign the log
sheet
5:53(ish) PM - Door prize drawing begins
6:00 PM - Disperse to enjoy the activities available in the
area, reverting to muggle status.
The point of a flash mob is to quickly gather in one place, do
something kooky, and quickly disperse. With the theme of the
presidency, our "kooky" activity will be to dress in red, white,
and blue, standing around in a mob.
If you wish to have a more than 15 minutes of fun, there are one
or two night caches in the area. This is also home to some toboggan
runs (with a small fee) as well as free sledding and ice skating.
