Lübeck meets Hastings
Hi there!
This year my family is going to spend the holidays at the UK. When my wife told me that she had found a nice place at Hastings, I checked the geocaching map and spontaneously agreed. So many caches to be found. That's the right place for me.
And now we are really looking forward to do this trip. We have never been at the UK before. 5 hours at Jersey don't really count, do they?
The only thing I'm a bit scared of is driving on the „wrong“ side of the road.
But we don't want to be some more boring tourists. We want to have contact with local people.
For that reason I asked myself: Wouldn't it be a good idea to meet people sharing the same hobby?
The simple answer was : YES!
This would be a great opportunity to meet local cachers and owners of all the caches I'm about to seek.
So I contacted one of the local caching dinos and asked for some help. And the answer came quickly.
Thanks to Velosaurus for your support!!!
We found a nice place for the gathering
The Robert de Mortain
371-373 The Ridge, Hastings
The gathering will be on Wednesday the 29th of july
Time 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Or maybe a bit longer.
Hopefully we'll have a bit of summer weather to meet outside and have a drink or two.
I hope to see you then! And btw, don't forget to speak slowly when you talk to me, cause my English is clumsy. Never mind my mistakes.
Best regards to all of you,
Michael aka Ifayra
