Leopard's Spots is a traditional cache located in the a small over grown area in a residential area.

Leopard's Spots

Leopard's are the smallest of the Big Cats. These distinctively spotted animals are found throughout Africa and Asia.

Leopards are the smallest of the Big Cats (ranging from 60 to 200 pounds depending on location), but in some ways they are the most successful. Their habitat is not only larger than any other Big Cat, it’s larger than any wild cat period! They are found throughout most of Africa and all along southern and eastern Asia. Leopards are also more plentiful than the other Big Cats. Leopards are well known for their dark rosette (circular) spots This striking pattern sets them off from the other Big Cats that live in the leopards habitat. Leopard are very accomplished climbers. To protect their kills from other predators they will often drag them up into trees. They are capable of dragging a kill three times their own weight up into a tree.

This traditional cache is located in a overgrown corner of a residential neighborhood. Should be a pretty each park and grab, but there is a bit of a steep drop off from the street to the cache location. This would also be a great place to practice from CITO if you're so inclined.

Great little cache. We found it at night and were worried about the terrain rating, but it proved to be no problem. We picked up a geocoin from it that was not logged as being dropped there (or picked up from where it was before). We also dropped off a travel bug. TFTC!

Nice hide! Scared up a woodpecker we watched hop along for a bit, then since we were in the area we stopped to visit some friends and retrieve a hoodie SOT had left behind at their house. Thanks for the excuse to get over to that side of town!
