Sleepwalking was visiting and we spent the weekend caching at June Lake just above Mammoth. Things were a little slow on Monday so we decided to place a cache and this is the result. Trades welcome. Enjoy.

Once we had your Mystery Building, we basically spent a half-hour or so going wherever, so that Webfoot could pick off a couple more USGS Quads for the challenge. I had gotten several of these on other trips, but as I told Webfoot, a smiley is a smiley, so I was happy to get out of the car wherever he opted to stop it The short walk out to this was notable for the incredible number of small holes (and one very large one!) that we saw. At one point, I actually "fell" about four inches into the home of some ground squirrel or other such critter, as all the holes had left the surface very porous and crumbly. We found the cache quite quickly; in fact, it was pretty obvious, so we added a piece of camo. Guess not too many folks come around here, anyway. Dropped in a TB: if the person who retrieves it could take a photo of it out here, that would be nice; I left my camera in the car

Another quadrangle bites the dust as I find one in Alpine Butte Quad. I think one of the best things about caching out in the desert is the proliferation of large sized caches. This one did not disappoint in that regard.

I took nothing, left nothing and signed the log this afternoon. Thanks for the cache.
