How Geocaching Works
small camo bottle in a nice park setting. Big enough for small trade items and travel bugs. Not quite wheelchair accessible.
The other day, we were thinking about all the cachers who came before us and made this game possible. We wonder if any of the people playing this game now, even think of those people. We think everyone should take the time to think about those who came before and made everything we enjoy possible. Not just in caching but in everything we enjoy. After thinking a while, we decided to place a cache in honor of all of those who came before us.
When looking for a spot to place a cache, we noticed this little park no longer had an active cache. We felt it was the place for the cache. The Park was once a Pioneer Cemetary but was no longer activily used and was often vandalized. Like the cachers who came before us, it was forgotten. The City finally decided to convert it into a park complete with a display of existing head stones. Take time to check them out and remember those who came before.
To everyone who made the things we enjoy possible, this cache is for you, THANKS.
