Geocache Description:

Located in Pine Creek Open Space. A short walk from the parking area. This one will give you nice views of Long Island Sound. Mostly moderate wide trails.

Schnuffles State Quarter Coin Cache was eaten by some still unknown forest animal living at Ensor's Trace, so we decided to put this one closer to the ocean. Hopefully the seagulls won't eat it. There are many trails that will take you to the cache. Stay on the trails as long as possible. If you are bushwacking more than 50 ft, you are doing it the hard way. The container is a 6X4X2 plastic Glad contaner with a purple top, wrapped in a clear plastic ziploc bag. The cache contains many different and interesting coins.

The container is rather small, so bring coins or other small items to trade. Cache contains a logbook, pen, and the following coins: 1905 Indian Head Penny, 1972 Eisenhower dollar, silver 1942 Liberty half dollar, 3 silver dimes, silver 1941 quarter, and 12 state quarters. Please be discreet when at the cache site, as this is a popular area. Also, please try to re- hide the cache the same way you found it hidden. ( You'll know what we mean when you find it.) Good luck!!
