Geocache Description:

Located near the trail system in Tamarack Park Preserve. Cache is a 2-pound plastic pretzel container with camouflage paint.

Tamarack Park Preserve is one of Woodbury's best kept secrets. For a pleasant walk, park in the lot at N44 55.318 and W092 56.539 (near Valley Creek and Tower). Be sure to look for both fresh deer and rabbit tracks along the path. You don't have to walk "through the swamp" - you can walk "across it." After finding the cache, take some time to follow the paths around the wetlands and enjoy the sights. This spot is as lovely in the winter as it is in the summer. This is the first geocache hidden by Team PELL. Original contents include log book and pencils in ziplock; also Snoopy bus, Snoopy blimp, yo-yo, false teeth magnet, Bendable moose, Flippy toy, plastic purple heart, insect tattoos. Enjoy!
