Caches that are buried. If a shovel, trowel or other "pointy" object is used to dig, whether in order to hide or to find the cache, then it is not appropriate.
The picture shows just how obvious this a buried cache this is.

Geocache Description:

You are looking for a well-hidden cylindrical container – 3 in. by 8 in., not far off a trail. Street parking is available on W High Street and is less than 500 feet from the cache. Coords are based on a GPS accuracy of 18 ft. No hint at this time - later if needed.

During the early through mid 1990’s, there was a TV sit-com called Hangin’ With Mister Cooper. It was about a physical education teacher/would-be professional basketball player. What does that have to do with this geocache? Well, it’s about a favorite teacher of mine. The cache is located in a small park in Haddon Heights – Hoff’s Playground. It’s named to honor Mr. Norm Hoff, who was a well-liked and respected long-time (28 years) phys-ed teacher, baseball coach and athletic director at Haddon Heights High School. In 1939, as a student at the school, he was captain of the football team that went undefeated – outscoring the opposition 139–2! He was named to the All South Jersey football team. In 1952 he returned to the school as a teacher and coach. As head baseball coach, he managed three Colonial Conference Championships. He was a great mentor and role model.

Enjoy your search for this cache in a kid friendly environment. The park is located between the Haddon Heights Little League and Softball complex and the high school varsity baseball and American Legion Baseball field. Needless to say, beware of muggles, especially during baseball season.

The initial contents of this cache are a golf ball and tees in a potential cache container, carabineer, sport stickers, compass key ring and Tonka zipper pull along with a logbook and pen. A Wawa certificate for FTF.

This is the first hide I’ve done on my own, so any constructive criticism or suggestions will be appreciated. Thanks for visiting and happy hunting!

CONGRATULATIONS TO GALAP FOR FTF!
