Krypton: As there's been no response to my previous note, I assume that the cache is not going to be repaired or replaced, so I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. Geocache Description:

This cache is in a local park, The terrain is flat but there isn't marked trails. However, It will be fine to wander about. It is very small cache and very well camoed. Park is open Dawn to Dusk, pedestrians can enter after dark if they are stealthy. Gates are locked so get your car out before the sun goes down.

This cache my #1 Tin Can concocted. He wanted to place it in our front yard but I said no. So, wanting to add to my hometown's local caches we decided to place it in a park. Mostly likely you aren't local so I'm adding extra info for your conveniece.

The kids will enjoy this park, its a great place to run about. There are 2 new play structures in here. Restrooms are directly East of the main entrance, just drive in and head east until you pass the first play structure. they are in a cinderblock building--if you have little ones this may become important, as this is a LARGE park and you could be exploring far away when the urge strikes. There is plenty of picnic areas and barbeque pits and drinking fountains. Most often this park is deserted except for once per year its the location of Ione Homecoming and is used also for sports. This park began as the "picnic grounds". The residents first celebrated the with centennial in 1876, and it became Ione Homecoming and still celebrated today. Now the City is working on it and it will be very nice when it is done.

For the cache: If you are comfortable with the idea you can drive to fairly close (please stay on the paved road), or just find a nice (typical) place to park and walk around.

The cache container is very small, a nickle would fit in it. A quarter would not. Please bring a WRITING INSTRUMENT.

If you find the cache compromised or damaged in any way, please email me and I will check on it. I hope my choords are not off.
