  • . At mile marker 18.8 +/- on the 'Akoni Pule Highway' turn makai onto the "Old Loran Road" where you will see an abandoned "Department of Defence 'LORAN' station"....

    Remember the 3Ts....noTrash---noTouch---Tread carefully.

Our first cache on the Big Island. We are staying in a rental house in Kohala Waterfront and decided to drive up the coast today. We stopped here on our way back down - nice spot. Left Yellow Love Bug TB and one of our coins. Mahalo!

Able to access the Haiau via the airport road thanks to the dry conditions lately. Kidneystones are all taken care of now.
