Cache je postavljen v Italiji, v bližini Gorice. V preteklosti je to obmocje pripadalo slovenskemu ozemlju. Pred 100 leti je bil na tem kraju izveden dvanajsti polet z motornim letalom na svetu.
The cache is located in Italy in the neighbourhood of Gorizia. In the history the location was a part of Slovene territory. The world's twelfth powered flight with an aeroplane in the world took place there, 100 years ago.
25. novembra 1909 je na travniku na Malih Rojcah v bližini Gorice Edvard Rusjan uspešno izvedel prvi polet z motornim letalom v zgodovini slovenskega letalstva. Letalo EDA 1 je izdelal skupaj z bratom Josipom.
Letalo EDA 1 se je dvignilo v zrak 2 metra in nadzorovano letelo približno 10 sekund, 60 metrov dalec. Štiri dni kasneje se je Edvard dvignil do višine 12 metrov in podaljšal let na okrog 600 metrov dalec.
Brata sta se odlocila nadaljevati razvoj in izdelavo letal. Od decembra 1909 do konca junija 1910 sta nacrtovala, zgradila in preizkusila pet letal popolnoma razlicnih konstrukcijskih znacilnosti.
9. januarja 1911 se je 24-letni Edvard kljub mocnemu vetru odlocil poleteti na letalskem mitingu v Beogradu. Njegov vzlet in prelet mesta sta bila neponovljiva in hkrati nepozabna, saj je med pristankom mocan sunek vetra Edvardovemu letalu zlomil krila in letalo se je zrušilo. Edvard je utrpel hude poškodbe in umrl. Postal je ena izmed prvih žrtev letalskih nesrec.

EN: On November 25, 1909, on the Male Rojce field in the neighbourhood of Gorica (Gorizia), Edvard Rusjan made the first successful powered flight in Slovene aviation history in his EDA 1 airplane, costructed by Edvard and his brother Josip.
The flight lasted about 10 seconds and Edvard travelled approximately 60 metres at a height of 2 metres. Four days later, he increased his distance to 600 metres at a maximum altitude of 12 metres.
Brothers decided to continue development of their airplanes. From December 1909 to the end of June 1910, they build and flight tested five airplanes of entirely different designs.
On January 9, 1911, despite strong gusty winds, the 24-year-old Edvard went ahead with a demonstration flight in Belgrade. His takeoff and flight over the town and a railway bridge over the Sava River were uneventful. However, while the airplane was returning for a landing, at an approximate height of 20 metres, a strong gust ripped off a wing and the airplane crashed. Edvard was killed. He is one of the earlier victims of the flying accident.
