Tulsa Time! Traditional Geocache

This cache has been archived.

yogiabb: Well sadly I'm archiving this. The city has gone in and has redone everything so it won't be a matter of waiting until they are done and rehiding. There are other areas close by whereI can hide another cache.

Geocache Description:

Microcache near Tulsa's newest entertainment district.

Downtown Tulsa now has nightlife. Developers have been steadily adding new clubs, galleries, restaurants, and apartments. Most Tulsans are familiar with what the changes in the Brady District north of Downtown but many, even those of us that work downtown are unaware of the new clubs and restaurants northeast of downtown. We can now catch a show at the Performing Arts Center and have a drink or a meal afterward. Several years ago that was not possible.

This cache is to help draw attention to this new area.

It is a magnetic key holder attached above ground level to a steel structure. No need to poke around plants or mulch. It is on public property so no need to get off the sidewalk. It is very straightforward and won’t be much of a challenge, except to retrieve and put back unobserved.

No hints are necessary. The biggest problem, apart from the multitude of muggles day and night, is going to be getting a good signal. Good luck there. I made three trips to get a good spot. The one I listed correlated pretty well with the physical location on the various web sites that map coordinates.

Cache has only a log. BYOP (Bring Your Own Pencil).
